Exactly 60 beans, no more and no less,<\/strong> <\/em>he personally counted, grinded, and prepared in a glass coffee maker \u2013 today known as Siphon. Interestingly, 60 beans weigh about 7 grams, which is only a little bit less than what you use for an espresso today. But since it is assumed that the caffeine content was higher 230 years ago, this matches pretty well.<\/em><\/p>
